Medical Clinic

Deep River Mission has partnered with an extraordinary Haitian nurse, Ange Marie. She has been working with DRM in our mobile clinics for the past 6 years. She is a compassionate caregiver with profound faith in her Savior, chosen by God to fullfill a dream. In May, 2022, Deep River Mission helped build her clinic on land that she purchased with a micro loan. Over the past 2 years many improvments have been made since it first opened. There is now tile on the floor, paint on the walls and recently a lab to perform simple lab tests to help patients receive better treatment. A generator runs lights and the microscope in the lab. This ongoing clinic has been the vision of Deep River Mission's medical teamm coordinator, Tina Saniewski, RN, since she began running mobile clinics in Haiti in 2012 with Deep River Mission. What a testimony of God's faithfulness to answer prayer. On too many occasions in Haiti, patients do not have the resources to pay for their medical needs so they just go without it. Deep River Mission provides monthly support to help Ange Marie give her patients the care and medications they need.
